Numbness in hands and feet
  • Maintaining different postures over a long period of time may cause numbness of the limbs. Diabetes may be the cause of numbness if patients suffer from metabolic syndromes. Arterial embolism may be behind the numbness if patients suffer from peripheral vascular disease. If the hands and feet are numb due to posture changes, cervical or lumbar spine lesions should be considered. The above symptoms can also occur when nerves are compressed (regardless of the presence or absence of trauma).
