  • I. Abdominal pain is a common symptom of many abdominal diseases. It is usually divided into generalized abdominal pain and localized abdominal pain depending on the area where the pain is located. It is further divided into right upper abdominal pain, upper abdominal pain, left upper abdominal pain, right lower abdominal pain, lower abdominal pain (pain in the underbelly) and left lower abdominal pain. According to the nature of the pain, it is divided into pure pain, hunger pain, sharp pain, colic pain, severe pain, labor pain, etc., and is divided into acute, subacute and chronic abdominal pain according to the occurrence period.   • II. Generalized abdominal pain is common in severe conditions such as peritonitis, ulcerative colitis, food poisoning, intestinal obstruction, intestinal volvulus, intestinal arterial thrombosis, acute enteritis, etc., and mild cases of organic gastrointestinal disorders.
  • III. Right upper abdominal pain or upper abdominal pain are common in patients with peptic ulcer, gallstones, cholecystitis, hepatitis, pancreatitis, gastritis, gastric cancer, pneumonia, myocardial infarction, hiatal hernia.
