Vomit
  • I. Vomiting is often accompanied by nausea. Vomiting does not necessarily represent symptoms of disease; for example, motion sickness, seasickness, morning sickness, fear, and drunkenness can cause vomiting.
  • II. Vomiting can be caused by acute gastritis, acute enteritis, intestinal obstruction, acute appendicitis, cholecystitis, pyloric stenosis, food poisoning, among other conditions related to the gastrointestinal tract. Conditions that are not related to the gastrointestinal tract include: vertigo, head trauma, brain tumor, meningitis, uremia, and drug poisoning.
